I just had another dish of the homemade peach ice cream we made last weekend with our new ice cream maker from my in-laws. I had tried to lighten the recipe a little by using 1% milk where it called for milk and whipping cream in place of heavy cream. It's still so amazingly rich (read: fatty) it leaves a film in the bowl. Joel quipped "mmm, this is good peachy butter...er, I mean ice cream."
