Great tease
Claire's early fascination with the potty--opening and closing the lid, pretend play with seating and wiping her teddy bears--has gone to the next level. Over the weekend she successfully used the potty for the first time. I think it's really just a big tease though. She hasn't shown the signs of being physiologically ready, despite her emotional eagerness to be a big girl.

Now that I think about it, of the nearly 100 kids I've worked with in the church toddler room over the years, only one potty trained before age 2. I really don't expect to be out of diaper land any time soon.
